Travel Poster
In class we are working on travel posters that are inspired by Expedia's 5 Seconds or Less Travel Posters.
Students are to create a travel poster of a location, real or fiction, using areas and food to describe things you can participate in at that location.
You need a major "snapshot" or the overall image that comes to your mind, another place you can visit while you're there, an iconic food for the location, an activity you can participate or something you see, and a place to sleep at the end of the day.
The posters will be executed in watercolor and will be inked after. Also, students need to use color schemes that are related to the location they are advertising. A "beach" location could have more aqua colors than a place in New Orleans.
Here are some of the Expedia Travel Posters (no copyright infringement intended). These are used to for educational purposes only.
